While making dinner on Wednesday Eliza came down to talk to me, she had just gotten out of the shower and had her hair pulled back. All of a sudden she starts screaming and crying "I'm sorry I didn't mean to". I was worried about what had happened so I said "just tell me its OK". "I don't want to tell you, you'll get mad" she said. Well after about 5 minutes of yelling, screaming, and crying she finally said "I didn't mean to". I said "what didn't you mean". She said "I didn't mean to cut my hair". Oh well after that I was trying not to laugh. I thought that something really bad had happened the way she was carrying on. So I said to her "Eliza your almost 10 years old, you got out the scissors and you cut your hair, so what part didn't you mean to do?" " I didn't mean for it to look ugly. I just wanted to have cute bangs like my friends. I hate them!" she cried. I said "If you want your hair cut all you have to do is ask and I'll cut it". "Mom will you fix it?" I told her that I wouldn't be able to fix that night but I would fix it after school the next day. "What about school, I can't go to school like this" she asked. I told her she would have to go to school and when she got home I would fix it. I was hoping that if she went to school with it that way she wouldn't do it again. The cut wasn't as bad as I thought at first. She did however take a pretty good chunk out of it. I hope that someday my girls will stop trying to cut their own hair.

This was just after school and right before I cut her hair.

This was after I cut it for her. She wanted her hair cut short. She seems to like it.
Eliza looks great with her new haircut!
