CHRISTMAS DECORATING!

I LOVE SEEING EVERYONE WORK TOGETHER TO DECORATE THE CHRISTMAS TREE!

MR AND MRS SNOWMAN!
Jenna keeps telling me that she wants the snowman to be her Husband!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ME!!

Brett, Mary, Curtis, Brandon, Brittney, Bekah, and Tyson came to visit for Thanksgiving.  It was AWESOME !  Uncle Lucky came over on Saturday and brought  Alexis and Hayden.  We spent the day at the park playing then we came back here and had a BBQ.  I really did have a wonderful time with everyone.  The kids LOVED seeing their cousins and boy did they play HARD!!!  I think they will sleep for the next month.

Update!

It has been a long time since I posted anything.  Life is starting to calm down a little.  We have moved and just about everything is unpacked.  The Christmas stuff is up and the sewing stuff out.  Now if I could just find the time to do the sewing that would be great!  (Time must still be in one of the unpacked boxes because I know I had time once.)  Kyle had last we off it was fun... He worked on putting Christmas stuff up and making tables oh and holding Hailey when I couldn't.  She was really sick with the flu and all she wanted was to be held.  I wish he had some more time off because it felt like I really didn't get to see him last week.

Eliza is doing great in school. She is in the after school choir and on the yearbook committee.  She loves doing all the extra stuff at school.  She has made a lot of new Friends.  Of course she is becoming a teenager and all that intells.  I hope she makes it to her next birthday.

Josh is also in the after school choir and he is loving it.  He struggles with school a lot and I wish I knew how to help him.  He is being tested to see if  he might be dyslexic.  I hope they will be able to help him because he is starting to get discouraged.  As always he is mild and easy to get along with.  I hope that never changes.

Aubrey is in second grade and she loves her class, friends, and teacher.  She wishes she was older so she could do the after school stuff too.  She can't wait to be eight and be baptized.  She asks at least once a week how many more days till her birthday.

Jenna is doing a mommy and me preschool twice a week.  She loves it!  She asks everyday if its school day!  She is starting to remember she goes on Monday and Wednesday and that means she goes the day after church.  So instead of asking if it is school day she asks is it church day yet?

Hailey is almost 3 I can't believe it she is still so small.  She is barely in 18 months clothes.  She is just starting to potty train.  I am glad she hasn't until now it is hard enough to keep her pants up without a diaper.

Our new house has a deck the length of the house and the kids LOVE it I told Kyle if I would have known how much they liked it and were quite we would have found a house with a deck a long time ago.  They can stay outside on the deck for hours at a time.  Its AWESOME!

THAT JUST ABOUT SUMS UP EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON HERE.

Just a little update!

I have not blogged in a long time.  Our computer has been on the fritz again.  The kids are out of school for the summer and they are going CRAZY being shut up in the house all day.  I know what your thinking send them outside to play that would work if it wasn't soooooo HOT!  We have been playing in the pool later on in the day but you can only play in the pool so much before they get sick of it or try to drowned each other!  I don't think any one wants to see that.

Aubrey Ann turned 7 last week.  I can't believe she is already 7.  She wanted to have her birthday party with Daddy and Grandma and when she told me that it gave me 1 day to plan a party.  It turned out good and I think everyone had fun.  They played in the pool and on the slip and slide with a few neighbors and Grandma and Daddy were both there!  She is such a funny little girl and I just love her sooo much!

Kyle is working a lot as always and is hardly ever home.  When he is home is sooo exhausted that he falls asleep ever few minutes especially if he is sitting still.  We rented "Alice in Wonderland" the other day and he started it about 6 times before he finally finished it.  My friend said it must be a really boring movie if he can't  finish it by the second or the third time.  I just think he is over worked.  I am so proud of him he never complains about being tired when he comes home from being on call he just tries to play with the kids and help me clean up the house.  I really do appreciate all that he does for all of us.

Hailey is our MONSTER BABY!!!  She screams all the time it must be the tantrum twos!  I don't know if she will make it through she is worse the all the other kids put together!

Jenna is my sweet little girl who just wants to please every one.  She is very tender hearted she wants everyone to like her and think she is good.  She said something funny the other day right out of the blue.  Everyone was playing and running around the house and she was really tired and she looked at me and said "Mommy when can the kids go back to school?  Me and Hailey need a nap!"  I thought that was really funny.  I guess because the kids are out of school and they are running around she doesn't get a long enough nap.

Eliza and Josh are just plain bored.  I have been trying to do school and have them write reports and read books so they don't fall behind and so they have something to do.  But I feel like a really mean Mom making them do homework in the summer.

I have been busy trying to bottle fruit and jam.  The school here has a summer meal program and they give the families that come food to take home.  Most often its produce, and sometimes when they don't get rid of it as quickly as they would like they send it home with anyone who will take it.  So have gotten 3 1/2 bushels of apples from the school and a ton of mangoes.  It really is a blessing for us to be able to use it.  Well  I guess that just about covers everything.  I will stop rambling on for now and go make dinner for my family.

What is in my Heart!

I have set a silly little goal for myself this year to make people and relationships more important this year. What that means is instead of obsessing dinner, chores and how to get all the physical things done and keep them done. I am trying to focus a little more on the people in my life and what they need or what they feel. In an effort to do this I have let the spirit guide me in the who, what, when and how. It has been a real learning experience for me to see how much we all need someone to identify with us or just someone to listen to our heart aches. I have also realized just how great my family and friends are and how blessed I am to have all of them in my life. As always I have received more support, love and insight from everyone then I could ever give back. I have also had times that I know without a doubt that the Lord wanted me to call and talk a specific friend at a specific time. Maybe just to lend a listening ear or to give encouragement when they were having a rough time. I have learned so much from the faith of others in just the last two weeks. I have seen the spirit at work in my life and in the lives of others as they deal with some very difficult life changing events. I really appreciate that these people have felt like they could share part of their struggles and heart breaks with me. I pray that is some small way I helped or lent some kind of comfort to them. I hope that as I continue to strive to accomplish my goal I will be more perceptive to the spirit an in so doing I will be able to know what and how to cultivate loving and lasting relationships with those around me. After all our personal relationships with our family and friends are what we get to take with us into eternity , not the clean house, the dinners or all the nice things. (Yes family dinners help to cultivate lasting relationships but they don't have to be fancy.) I have felt for a while now that Satan has been hard at work trying to destroy these relationships in all of our lives. He knows that if we have no one to turn to in our hour of need to support and strengthen us. We will not be as spiritually strong and will more easily yield to temptation. So I pray that I might be able to sure up and strengthen my relationships with those around me so that Satan has less room to temp and destroy lives. President Monson said " Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved." That is the theme I based my goal on. Well that is what is in my heart today.
